Update...Dinara loves the water!!! It is hard to believe that two weeks ago this little girl was terrified to have a bath with her Mommy. Now we have taken her to her first swimming pool. She loved it!! She was smiling and laughing and even squeeling at times. One of the other guests using the pool was amazed that this was her first time in a swimming pool. Everyone who meets our little one is surprised by how happy and well behaved she is...we are truly blessed with her. We are so very, very, very happy to be parents. Lunch today was not as big a success as breakfast. We ordered her the childs chicken schnitzel and she didn't like it. It was quite a shock. We don't think she didn't like the taste...more that she had to chew so much. Oh well. Daddy gave over some of his chicken breast sandwich and Mommy gave some marinated chicken from her pita. We are soooo enjoying eating fresh fruit and veg again. Technically we weren't suppose to eat this until home but we couldn't wait. We both haven't been ill either (knock on wood).
Our coordinators here in Moscow were fabulous. We realized early this morning that we were running short on diapers...well this afternoon we were brought some by the lawyer for the adoption people. She is so very nice. She loves Dinara. She keeps telling us how beautiful she is...we add that she is smart too (don't want a Princess complex for our girl). Not much else has really happened in the last 6 hours. We walked around the country club (pictures will be forthcoming) and enjoyed some of the sights. Oh! We found a children's play area and Dinara had fun on the teeter totter, the slide and a swing (with Mommy holding her). It is so beautiful here. We are glad that this is the last place we have to stay away from home for a while. I can't wait to have her sleep in a crib with a proper mattress and for us to sleep in our own bed. Only one more sleep...well not including the sleeping (if any) on the planes.

Whoa...so that's what gravity feels like. What is my hair doing?
This is ok but I think Mommy is having a better time then Dinara.

Good morning from Saskatoon!
Dinara is so adorable. I loved the Minnie Mouse outfit. Matthew has pronounced her "cute" and Domenic's comment was "Yeah! Andrew is coming home soon". Obviously our children have missed you! Have a safe and hopefully easy trip home with your little one.

Oh Wow,
Great reading and wonderful pics. Thoroughly enjoyed your posts today, as always. Moscow actually sounds great and the hotel looks very nice. Dinara is one very serious sweetheart! She looks so happy - I wonder if she will ever really realize the significant change that just occured in her life (and yours). I for one am glad you splurged on this hotel for your last couple of nights.
Gord and I will be leaving on the 18th for a family reunion in Calgary on the long weekend, so we won't be able to meet your plane (we were gonna try). We will call when we are back on Tuesday. Travel safe, hug the little one (big one too if you want!) and hopefully your travel will be smooth as butter. Hint - if you get caught up in Customs, let Dinara loose and tell her to get into filig cabinets or something. That certainly sped up the process when we were trying to "import" Terri from the US. Same age and boy could she travel!! LOL

Oh wow is right. We adore our little granddaughter. It will be difficult to live with a Polish Princess AND a Kazakh Princess in the same family. We love the pictures and please keep them coming at least into June when we get home. Moscow sounds like a great respite for you. Travel save and take your time adjusting to the time difference. Love and hugs, Nana and Opa.
HEY PEARSONS!!!
Love the pics.
Keep them coming.
What a beautiful place to visit!
I cannot believe how happy Dinara is and how easily she adjusted to life with you two crazy people.
Love from me
Hey Pearsons!
Adorable pics...she looks like she is always having a good time!
Have an awesome trip home and we'll seen you soon(hopefully)
(Kat isn't excited at all about you guys coming back to Canada :) )
Hugs to all 3

Honey, you better be camera-happy!!
Welcome to my circle of mommy-friends, by the way. Congrats.
As I've learned from The Mommies, you can never take too many photos, especially digital, because she'll never be that little again.
I love reading your adventures and seeing the photos. This way I don't feel like I'm missing so much by living in Seattle (and not your suitcase?).
love and hugs, bridget
