Nightmares or Just Hate to Wake Up

Andrew posting today. We got an earful this morning. Dinara was telling us how bad everything was. Once we managed to get the diaper on her, she refused to let us get her dressed, screaming everytime we tried to put her pants on. Eventually, she just cuddled up to her mom and slept. At the end of the visit, the doctor came in and informed us where Dinara's troubles were...she had a fever last night. They were also unhappy that Dinara's legs were uncovered. Ah well.

This afternoon's visit was much better. She was again active:playing with her toys, walking with our help and loving getting thrown in the air. After all this she finally crashed, sleeping in the stroller.

On to news from back home. Happy birthday to Dinara's Nana!!! Nana (Andrew's mom)is now 60 years old and is still going strong. I'm sure she will get a birthday cuddle from Dinara when we return to Canada.

Bye for now.

Thanks for the birthday greeting. Sorry Dinara was a bit ill and cranky. Maybe am is not her best time. She would not be the first in the family. Missing you all, and can't wait for the birthday cuddle from Dinara.
Love, Nana and Opa

Happy Birthday Nana!

My experience varies from kid to kid, but there are some that just refuse to wear pants sometimes! On the other hand, my one friend's son refused to wear shorts last summer. It was like he was this super-Victorian-style child last summer. Even when it was 90 here, he wouldn't wear anything but pants. When Tanya put shorts on him, after the shrieking was done, he kept pulling on the legs so they'd go to his ankles ... and then they'd be pulled down below his underpants.
Gotta love kids :-)
Glad to hear that she was better by the afternoon visit!
Cheers! -b

Yay, Andrew!!! I was going to tell Nadine that you need to get writing, too!
Sorry to hear that little Dinara wasn't feeling too well today, and that there was a small conflict with the nursery, but only a *bit* longer until she is yours forever...the light at the end of the tunnel! I'm elated to hear of all the good news coming your way!

And happy birthday to your mom!!
*HUGS*,
Aris :)

HEY .... uh .... fellow commenters??? This is the closest thing that i have to a webpage or blog (what ever the H E double hockey sticks that is) anyways enough about me. Just so you know also, to add to bridget's comment, some people will grow up hating to wear pants. So if you stay in Toon town for some time, you had better put up really tall fences! Just a small request ... I would love to hear more about the Nose Goblins or bats in a cave or what ever you call them. I loved that update!!! Ok I should quit writing now, I am getting abit squirrel-ly! Well I hope that one of you got a slight giggle outta this comment! Happy Birthday to Nana!
