Travel Update!

Hi everyone. I'm web logging from Frankfurt right now. Andrew and I are fine and all the flights have been arriving at their destinations either on time or early. We are waiting for our flight information to be posted here in Frankfurt so we can find the gate we need for the next leg of our journey. Andrew is mad that he didn't follow his gut and fly business class. The seats on Lufthansa were like sitting on rock...which my butt is used to but not my hubby's. The service was really good though.

We went for breakfast here and I am always impressed with European tea. These people definitely know how to brew a fantastic up of tea. The breakfast was a little greasy for my liking but I'm sure I'll get by. I have been battling a sore throat for 2 days now and I am not impressed. Why is it I get sick when I don't want to be sick? Can someone answer this for me? Oh well. I am drinking lots of fluids and sucking on Chloroseptic throat lozenges. Andrew is pacing back and forth as he just wants to continue on our journey. We have our systems sort of accustomed to the time zone now. Just for curiousity...did you know that when you travel to other countries and log into the blogger website the site is immediately translated into what ever language is dominant. So here in Frankfurt it is translating my stuff into German. A little wild to read I have to admit.

I have attached some photos from the various airports. Excuse the ones from here in Frankfurt...I look like death because I have had 4 hours sleep in total. I'll update hopefully at the hotel in Almaty but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting. You guys might have to wait until we are in Kyzylorda. Lots of love from far away.

Saskatoon Airport: Andrew playing rock. A calm moment in a normally chaotic individual;)

Toronto Airport: Nadine looking herself.

Frankfurt Airport: Nadine looking like death. She needs sleep! Beauty rest is a must. What's up with the hair?

I guess every "labour and delivery" has its difficulties. Just tell Andrew that at least he's only sitting in a sit 2 size two small and it could be worse at least the air line isn't trying fit him in fit in sit the size of lemon when he's the size watermellon. Tell him its his turn to go through "labour" for the baby. LOL. Seriously good luck. I can't wait to meet the whole family.

*giggles* Lufthansa...ahhh, good old Lufthansa. I remember one particular instance where the plane was *so* tiny, the stewardess (who was barely 100 pounds wet) had to turn sideways to get through the aisle. Now imagine how small the seats would have been....my parents were stuffed like sardines in there!

SO glad to see that everything is going smoothly so far! The excitement is killing me (and you, I'm sure!)

Lots of Love,
Aris

be glad it is only hard seats. it could be worse, you could be me. i have pissed off the travel gods beyond measure. if i am on, going to meet, or anyhow involved in a flight it is late, really late or canclled.. really i had 3 cancelations and two late flights and that was in on round trip.... figure that one out...... it still boggles my mind. of course koko has the horseshoe thing, so you will do great.
love and kisses.... :)
